Lodge & Learn at Taaffeite K9 Training is a personalised board-and-train program where your dog lives comfortably on-site with experienced trainers while receiving structured, enrichment-focused training each day — building confidence, skills, calm behaviour and real-world obedience in a supportive and engaging environment.

Lodging Assessment
To join our lodging program, all dogs and their humans are required to complete a one-hour Lodge & Learn Assessment.
This assessment is a critical first step. It allows us to get to know you, your dog, and their individual needs, while giving you the opportunity to meet our team and understand how our lodge operates. Most importantly, it ensures we can recommend the most appropriate Lodge & Learn program to set your dog up for a safe, positive, and successful stay.
Assessments are conducted on site at our Yugar property. During your visit, you will meet me in person, tour our Lodge & Learn headquarters, and discuss your dog’s behaviour, routine, and training history. We will also observe your dog in a controlled environment to ensure the right fit for both your dog and our program.
This process helps us maintain high standards of care and provides you with confidence that your dog is in the right environment from day one.

Once you've completed your lodging assessment with us, you're eligible to book a lodging program with us. Select from the recommended program below and we'll look forward to having your special canine/s on site with us!Â
Alumni Lodging Program
Alumni can stay short or long, it’s up to you!
After completing a lodging program, both owners and dogs are welcome back anytime, with no minimum night stays.
Whether you need a quick overnight stay or an extended visit, we’re happy to accommodate your plans.
Your dog will already have a solid behavioural foundation, feel relaxed and calm, and happily settle into the routine they know and trust.
Familiar surroundings, consistent expectations, and a supportive environment help ensure each return stay is comfortable, stress-free, and enjoyable for your dog.
